What Happens Next?
The planning application for the extension to the quarry is being considered by the Dartmoor National Park Authority which will make a decision whether or not to grant planning permission.
Careful attention is being given to all aspects of the proposal in line with planning policy at local and national levels. Comments from Statutory Consultees like the Environment Agency, Natural England, Highways England, Devon County Council, Teignbridge Council, Ashburton Town Council, and others will be taken into account, as will the views of local residents, other organisations and the wider public.
Comments can be made direct via the Dartmoor National Park Authority’s website by searching for planning application number 0322/16.
When the Authority is ready to determine the application, the Planning Officer will prepare a report, which will be considered by the National Park Members at a committee meeting before a decision is made.
